Rendering a composite

I worked on a composite shot of an intro graphic, rendered the composite to mp4 and brought that into Vegas Pro 21 and the video is black. What are the possible causes for this?

@John-Gordon Can you play that rendered clip in a media player & it shows correctly?

MP4 is a file type. What is the video format?

Export preset was YouTube 1080, I retried the render when I got home, and it is showing up now.... I don't know.... just a weird occurrence I guess....
