Rendering a movie in same size as the original

Hi,
I am looking to render a movie (specifically an .mp4) in it's original size as I imported it. For instance I often get videos that are not the standard sizes, an example would be a recent .mp4 movie that was 854 x 480. I know I can render that to a "standard" size like 640 x 480 or 1920 x 1080 but in some cases the quality of the video is already marginal and I wish to just render at its original size perhaps just adjusting the audio levels or doing a small amount of cleanup.
Is there any way to do this in Vegas Movie Studio HD Platinum 11.0?
Thanks,
-Dennis

Of course. Set your project to "Match media properties" (it is a specific procedure, do a search), and set your custom render properties to the same size and aspect. Simple as that.

Btw, 854x480 is standard definition widescreen, when translated to square pixels, usually for internet delivery.

Did you set your project to match media settings?

To do that, Project > Properties > Match Media Settings (icon at top right corner).

When you render, if Match Project Settings doesn't give you the same frame size, choose a template close to what you want and click the Customize Template button. In the Frame Size field, choose Custom Frame Size.

ADDED: musicvid beat me to the Submit button. I guess I saved you a Search. :)
