rendering a single frame

Does anyone happen to know how to export a single fram in jpeg/gif/png format from vegas?

There is an icon that looks like a floppy disc, just above the preview window. Click on that and it will export a jpeg of the screenshot.

First Set the Preview Window to Full (Best) res.

Click the floppy icon above Preview and you can save either png or jpg in a location you choose. If there's fast motion you may need to deinterlace.
