Hello all and greetings from Medellin Colombia,

It's been a while since I've been on here. Looks like there is lot's of new news going around. I would love to ketchup a little on V9 but for right now....

I have V8 and I bought the Multi-Renderer from PeachRock (awesome stuff) but I wondered if you guys could help me figure out exactly what I setting I should use....
I am rendering AVCHD (.m2ts) (Full 1080x1920 HD 60i) to AVI so that I can work easier... My notebook doesn't do too well with AVCHD.
I am trying to figure out what renderer to use.... I think I should us HD1080 60i YU...(somthing).... But I am not sure..

any one know what's teh best format to do this to preserve teh most quality with out all the freaky stuff that comes with AVCHD, like red thumbnails, endless hanging and all???

I am contacting Peach rock but don't really have the time to wait fo r a reply because of my situation...

Thanks a lot guys,

peace out,

Joshua

Hey guys,
I really need some help on this one. If any could chime in I would really appreciate it.

Just basically what is the best way to render AVHCD to AVI even in vegas? What AVI format is easiest to use???

Thanks a million,

Joshua

What are you delivering this as?

If it's only for standard def then I'd convert it to standard def before editing. No point going throught all the pain and disk space of editing in HD IF you're only delivering SD. I think you said you're editing on a laptop, right?

I'm assuming you're not wanting to do any pan/crop on the source?

Extacly Bob, (how have you been?)
I can't and surely don't want to use HD when I am going to end up SD anyways. That's why I am converting... I just wondered what's the best AVI setting to go to? Uncompressed (looks really bad so I assume no) Widescreen, HD YUV ect......
I got an email from peachrock and they don't even know what's the best way to do this...

Oh, and I don't want to pan crop every clip if I don't have to....

Thanks for the help,

take care,

Joshua
