Rendering crash question Vegas20 and other question on file

John-Wittle wrote on 5/5/2023, 11:52 AM

I got the whole opening work around and managed to finish my video. Now I plan to render it and Vegas Crashes.

It is an 8hr seminar, plan to do a HVEC 29.97 1080p. Vegas estimates end file will be 41gig.

As soon as I start the render Vegas crashes. So I need to figure that (my guess I need to change some CPU vs. Nvidia card setting?)

Am running a:

Intel(R) Core(TM) i9-9900KF CPU @ 3.60GHz   3.60 GHz

64 gig RAM

NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080 Super

I plan to upload the 8hr to Vimeo. Is it better to split it up? I am on 1gig/1gig fiber so dont think that is a big deal

THank you for the help

What is your renderlocation and how much empty space is on it?
Which exact (customized ?) rendertemplate do you use for your render?

With me on laptop is not a problem to start and finish a more than 8 hours long HEVC UHD project rendering to Magix HEVC (NVENC) 50fps on my laptop from signature.
Look

So for the program it might not be a problem.
I'm curious what those customs of you are:
- drivers Nvidia
- screenshots Options/Preferences Video and File I/O

I just did the new vegas update and rendering started?! I have no custom settings on the video card. I will wait and start it tonight as I expect it will take a couple hours. Thanks again!
