Looking for tips and advice, I'm having terrible rendering issues with VP18. I'm a longtime VP user (since v8) and recently upgraded my editing PC and Vegas from version 15 to 18 (build 434). I'm using a new Dell XPS 8940 with a 10th gen Core i9-10900, 32GB ram, and OS running on an internal 512GB SSD. Video card is Radeon GeForce RTX 2060 Super with 8GB ram. All external drives for media are SSDs as well. Files in the timeline are 1080/60i ProRes LT, it's a business presentation that lasts 45 minutes. One track is the talking head, one is his slides (exported to video) and one is titles. I've tried "6 ways to Sunday" to render a 1080p MP4 using MAGIX AVC or HEVC MP4 settings (max bitrate 14k, average 10k) and the render crashes 5-7 minutes into the process. This happens with GPU on or off, NVENC on or off, and dynamic ram set to 0, 200, or even 16,000. My Core i7 VP15 system was slower but did not crash like this. I did a test on just a 10-minute segment of the video and it did render successfully - any thoughts on what might be happening here?
