Rendering embedded markers in .MOVs

I am trying to render off a Quicktime MOV file in Video factory 2.0.
I have set about ten markers in the file that I need to have for
use in Director 8.5. When I render, I've made sure I go into
Advanced Render, and made sure "Save MArker Information
In Rendered File" is checked. Unfortnately, the resulting file
is completely devoid of markers when I bring it into Director.

Has anyone had experience with this and if so, did you get it to work?

I believe the very latest Sonic Foundry QT plugin supports text commands. This allows you to drop items on the time line that will be rendered into the QT .MOV at the appropriate time. Not quite the same as markers, but you may be able to make do. This was in the version of the QT plugin released with VV 3.0 so it should also be in the newest release of Video Factory.
