Rendering Errors in Sony Vegas 9 Platinum

After editing MTS files I render them (Make Movie) into Blu-ray M2TS format(BEST rendering option is ON). Rendering errors progressively getting worse with increase of resolution of MTS files.
Worst outcome comes after MTS files with 1920x1080 resolution:vertical lines appear jagged, numerous horizontal shifts or ripples. Resolution 1920x1080 in M2TS format is critical for my projects. I can't find out what the problem is. Any help?

Hi.

You may want to ask this question in the Vegas Movie Studio forum.

If you're going to Blu Ray then I would suggest rendering over to mpeg2 at around 28Mb/s

I have found that Vegas pro has similar problems as you're experiencing with rendering mts at 1920x1080. Things come out A LOT nicer if mpeg2 is used as a final output.

Hopefully SCS will tune and refine the avc render engine with the next patch/version.... but until then don't be too discouraged... most nle's that are working with native avc are struggling right now. There is not a perfect one out there yet.
