Rendering for BluRay

Magix suggests that when rendering for BluRay you should use MainConcept MPEG2 and select BluRay 1920 x 1080 60i video stream template (or 50i in Europe) at 25mbps. Whenever I select that template Vegas Pro just crashes and stops working. It will never render a whole project. However if I choose Sony AVC and the 1920 x 1080 50i (I'm in Australia) template at 10 mbps the project always renders successfully. Is there a problem with Vegas and the Main Concept template? I haven't tried the Magix AVC Blu Ray 50i (25mbs template) at 25 mbps yet. Has anyone tried that and does it work?

IMO, MPEG2 for DVD, and AVC 50i for BluRay - and I am also in Australia. Also, try changing AVC from 10 Mbps to 22 Mbps or above. And do a test render of Sony AVC, MC AVC and MAGIX AVC on a short bit of video so that you can decide which render you prefer.
