Rendering help Needed

I need help with a project. My source files are 1024x768 wmv files from a webinar. I need to move the project to DVD. When I do the video gets fuzzy, flickers, and I can not see the same detail as I can in the source.

What setting do I need to use to get the best quality from the video and eliminate the issues above?

I have about 20 hours of source and need to move it to the least number of dvd's without ruining the quality. Any insights other can come up with is appreciated.

I have access to use any version of Vegas from prior to the sony days up to the current 9.0b if a specific version is what I need.

Thanks,
Jeff

Thanks John.

I am using the stock templates that come with Vegas 9 and that is what is giving me the bad results. I think it has to do with shrinking the size down, but am not sure how to get around it. I'll try the 6M bps and see if that helps.

All I know is I see u-tube videos which seems smaller and without the issues and have to ask myslelf what am I doing wrong or am I using the wrong tool.

If you have any other hints I would greatly appreciate it.
