In V9 Pro there is a "=" next to the best rendering format for your file.

In DVDA go to project settings / properties and set as required.

Oh! I see the "=" sign on some of the templates after I select "Save as Type:", but not all. For example, when I select Save as .avi, it doesn't give me and "=" sign for template. However, my confusion is that after I save the file as .avi, then, open DVDA, all I see under Project Video Format is MPEG and AVC. What am I suppose to select there??? Thanks

Although zcheema's feedback is true, it does not help. I've used (=) designated settings for rendering HD video from Vegas Pro 9.0b 64-bit, then tried to make a movie-only blu-ray disc with those parameters as the "Properties," only to have DVDA crash.

How can one render a blu-ray with AVC compression for the video? (My work-around has been to render to MPEG-2 at 40 MBps, but that's wasting space. I want to use AVC at about 24 MBps.)
