Rendering mov creates huge files

Pcamp wrote on 8/8/2006, 10:41 AM
I have been asked to provide a DV shot in mov. file format. If I render in avi-dv it is 200mg - in mov-dv it is 10 times that size.
Am I doing something wrong?
Thanks
Paul

Are you sure you are not rendering it to an Uncompressed MOV file?

A DV MOV file should be about the same size as a DV AVI.

Dave thanks.
I think that is my problem.
I used the default setting that indicated the size is DV but needed to set the compression to DV also.
