Rendering often fails on the first try in vegas 22

Hi there,

I've been working in Vegas 22 for a week now, and it's happened many times now that on the first try, the rendering of a project doesn't start but fails at 0%, but on the second try, without changing the path where the video will be stored, it works. Is this a known bug?

What exactly is your render setting when this happens?

On another note, Voukoder is what i personally use for all my renders in avoiding any hiccups and for the speed increase.

Nothing special, and works when I try again immediately after, so the settings are not the issue here I guess...

@marcel-vossen I'm wondering that you are using NTSC render templates while living in a PAL country. Should be no problem when you are also recording in NTSC format.

Try this: after completing your editing and saving your project, and before rendering, close Vegas and reboot your computer.

This has the effect of flushing the cache and virtual memory, giving your encoder the best chance of getting it right the first time. Might make your rendering go faster, too.
