Rendering Plug Ins

When I apply a plug in such as Pixelan Spice Plug Ins they seem to work in the video preview monitor but when I render the whole file into an AVI the plug ins don't seem to render at all, the video looks normal, like nothing has been applied to it. Am I doing something wrong here? please help..

Did you possibly bypass them before rendering?

No, I didn't bypass them, they just don't seem to be working. I've tried to do a full track plug in then I tried event plug ins and none are working in the rendering process. Also, when I pick a plug in then come back to the plug in properties later it says I've chosen an untitled preset, does this have anything to do with it? It never seems to keep the preset I've chosen it always goes back to untitled... This really is getting to be annoying...

I am using Pixelan right now and am not able to repro this- all works as it is supposed to. If you can see the fx in the preview window, and render a section to a new track, the fx should be baked into the new file you have created. Is this not the case?
