Rendering/Print to tape Freeze

When I go to print to tape from the time line, the print to tape progress bar catches up to the rendering progress bar at the bottom of the window. This happened about 24 min. into my movie and the picture just froze. Can antone tell me if there is some type of adjustment to keep this from happening?

Have you tried to first render your file out to your hard drive? Try going to File/Render As and choosing Video for Windows (*.avi) and use the Template "NTSC DV". Are you able to render the entire project in this manner? If you are able to, try opening this file into the Video Capture Utility manually and print to tape from there.
