Rendering Problem

When ever I go either to Render As or Make movie after I render it and I watch it and its only a black screen for 8 seconds every time. I have tried almost all kinds of rendering options such as mov. wmv. etc. Any ideas on whats wrong?

you probably have a loop region set at the end of your timeline and have "render loop region only" set in Make Movie. Deselect it to render the entire video.
