Rendering Problems

I am working with a 64 bit, microsoft 7 OS and Movie Studio 9.0 Platinum. My data files are still photos (1920 by 1080 and AVCHD video from a Sony Camcorder in HD (also 1920 by 1080). My project is about 40 minutes long.
No trouble filling timeline etc but program crashes when I try to render. It seems to quit when rendering from a still into a video clip.

My render settings may be the problem although I have tried several without success. I have tried a video for windows format and a template setting of HD 1080-60i; also tried a format of MPEG 2 with a template setting of HDV 1080-60i; Also tried a format setting of MPEG 2 with a template setting of blue-ray 1920and 1080i 25mbps . Anyone have any advise? Thanks in advance..

There are a couple of known memory issues when rendering several high-resolution photographs on the timeline.

Try converting your images (JPEG?) to PNG and using those on the timeline instead. It should help.

Musicvid is correct, but the issue may also lie in a corrupt transition between the two as well. Is it a 3rd party orf other effect?
