Rendering problems - pixelation

I'm new to Vegas but noticed that after rendering the video, movement over a white background is pixelated (I mean, blurring, so you can see lines...) I've set the template to PAL DV and render quality as Best to render to .mpg and .avi, but still the same problem. I used to use VideoFactory and all was ok. Any ideas what might be wrong? The preview before Rendering is fine. Thanks.

How are you judging the result?

Is tthis on a TV (which you should be - as this is interlaced footage) or on your PC using some player (like Windows Media Player)?

Rendering using BEST should be only beneficial if you have high-res photographs or other graphics on timeline - for straoght video work GOOD is the recommended setting for rendering.

After rendering the file, I see the motion blurring when played on W Media player and Win DVD. Also appears when burned to DVD and played on tv.

If the white background is pure white (255, 255, 255), try dropping it to 235, 235, 235 and see if that helps.
