This is a problem with the latest version of QT. After Effects also does the same thing with a QT file.

you have to revert back to 7.3 or earlier in QT for it to work. If you are using Itunes 9 then it will not work anymore.

As long as you don't change the audio setttings, QT will work. Until Apple decides to fix it, we are alll stuck.

I think Dave meant 7.6.2 or earlier. 7.6 is the easiest compatible version to find.

Thanks guys for the help. Will try an earlier QT.

Also, my RME audio card has had compatibility issues with QT and iTunes since that early version. I wonder if these are somehow tied together ?
