Rendering regions and keeping region names?

Hey there,

I have interviews that I'm trimming, and I have a timeline with regions that section out what I want to keep. Each region is titled according to a cut sheet I'm working from. Without having to select each region and render individually, is there any way to render all of the regions on the timeline in one process, ending up with each as an individual file and NAMED the same as the region? The batch render script does this, but doesn't keep the name of the region, so I'd have to go in and manually rename all the files - something I'm trying to avoid.

Thanks in advance for any help.

PeachRock's tool does this, I think there might be another one as well, but can't recall it's name. This was brought up just recently.

I often work this way rendering regions with keeping the regions names for the rendered files. I use the application Spot mentioned - Veggie Toolkit from www.peachrock.com. It offers a very good render tool.

Both the Veggie Toolkit and Excalibur will do this. If you want to do this for free, just modify the existing BatchRender script as shown in this thread.

The BatchRenderGUI over at VAAST works well.
