Rendering selected portions of timeline

I read about using loop regions to render only selective parts of the timeline but that doesn't seem to be working for me.

I move the cursor over a video event (or double-click that event) and it creates those 2 yellow half triangles over the event - that selects one part of the timeline. If I try to double-click another part of the timeline, that in turn gets selected but the previously selected part now got de-selected. How do I select more that one region simultaneously?

Thanks,
Kunal

If you don't have matkers designating start and finish, place the cursor where you want to start, and drag to where you want to finish. You will see a blue shaded area which is all that will be rendered if you select "Render loop region only" from the Render as window. If the drag points aren't exactly where you want them, they can be dragged and adjusted any time.

Not absolutely positive but I believe you cannot have mutiple regions selected. It's one at a time.
