Does it stop in the same place each time?

Depending on the size of our images I wonder if you're running out of RAM. Does it work if you render a set of photos (say 40% of the way through) then drop the images on the time line as a video file?

more than likely this is a picture size issue - I doubt it is a project size issue. do a search here key word "photo size" or "picture size" and you will more than likely find what you need

It's possible you have a problem with your processor overheating. If the advice above doesn't work, check that your cooling fans are working and your heatsinks aren't clogged.

It stops in roughly the same spot, but not exact position. Not sure I understand your suggestion. I only have still images not video and I am placing them on the video time line already.

When I search as you suggest, all I get is info on Sony's Photo GO product. Can you point me in the direction you were thinking about? Thanks.

What format are your photos? That might make a difference. Did for me.

Search using keyword "resizing photos" and I think Kelly "chienworks" has the most comprehensive information about it, so if you plug his name into the user filter at the bottom of the search field you can pull up what you need. Basically what I am suggesting is happening is you may have run into a "speed bump" that VMS has when it handles very large pictures (like 2274x1704). Depending on which version you have VMS may "belch" when it gets to the picture. You may have to resize your pics to 600x800 (at least something closer to the range VMS can handle) or a size similar to that. Kelly gives the optimal sizes when you do the search. Use the link that is in between the forums and forum settings (just in case you searched up above that in the gray bar - dont) have fun with it.

rustier: Thanks. That makes sense. I will give it a try.
