Rendering success story

Reading the forum makes many of us think Vegas Movie Studio has all kinds of rendering issues with AVCHD. Here is a success story that I just wanted to share.

cpu: C2D, 2.66GHz, Vista 32, 4 GB RAM, 3 internal HDD, NVidia 7600GT, VMS 10 (original build)
project included: 6 MP stills, 1440x1080 m2ts (mts) AVCHD 5.1 surround sound from Panasonic camcorder

Project properties - all to match media; rendered to Sony AVC (.m2ts) without AGC using 1440x1080 60i AVCHD/5.1 template. Most clips colour corrected; some transitions (although many crossfades), some NB FX

I have launched up to 5 instances of VMS10 simultaneously and left to render projects of 4-7 minutes unattended. All renders were successful. Surprisingly, the rendering time wasn't even additive (so if I had 4 instances open at the same time, it didn't take each render 4x as long and they all finished at the time.

Just wanted to pass this along to others in case they need to get their project completed quickly.
