I have a very new YouTube channel and I have only needed to edit a few videos but the rendering times are ridiculous, the one I'm working on now says it will take upwards of 21 hours for a 45 minute video. What am I doing wrong?
I have the same issue but never had it take 21 hours, i think the more content and layers to the video the longer it does take, its ridiculous because other programs i have tried dont take as long to render but nothing works as well as movie studio to do really professional editing.
Rendering time is affected by your CPU speed, amount of memory, program length, amount of effects and layers. without more information about your project and hardware, there is no way to say if 21 hours is too long.
Usually the estimated render time is wrong. You should try rendering something and when it finishes see how long it took. If it actually takes 21 hours you should get a better computer or contact costumer services.
