Rendering to MP4 in Movie Studio 16.0 Platinum

Sorry if I'm posting in the wrong forum, but I've been absent for several years and things are different. I'm trying to render multiple clips that are MP4 from another program using 'Sony AVC/MVC' template. I get a pop-up that says: 'The selected encode format requires the download of an add-on software module the first time the format is used.' I click that I want to accept, but I get a failure message every time. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you. Cin

The forum for later versions of Movie Studio are part of the Magix.info software group.

@rraud There is no Sony AVC/MVC' template in Magix Movie Studio. The OP is ref to Vegas.

@OhMyGosh From memory your Vegas MS16 Platinum is trying to phone home to unlock the required codec. It could be a server problem. What exactly does the failure message say?

You probably need to contact Vegas Support to resolve the problem.
