rendering to mpeg-2 = loss of sync

Hi all,

just tried to convert my project into a mpeg2 file so i can put it in DVDA and burn it.

Well i lose sync and also the picture doesn't lose quality but rapid movement are replace with ugly lines ( i think interlaced is the right word).

Any idea.

thx a bunch

ps: ultimatly all i want is to burn my project on a dvd, is there an easy and quick way to do this ie: pinnacle with "click here to burn".

First, are you testing this on a DVD or just running from the hard drive? I've seen that kind of thing trying to play MPEG-2 files from the hard drive, even on a relatively fast machine.

What I do is render to seperate streams and let DVDA to the multiplexing:

1st Render: AC-3 with Stereo DVD template selected
2nd Render: MPEG-2 with NTSC (or PAL, if appropriate) video stream template selected
