Hi folks, it's been a long time, isn't it? Now I come up with an interesting subject, let's see if you can help me once more:
Brazil introduced the TV System PAL-M back in 1970. Some people say it runs at 29,97, some others at 30 fps. I've been reading som earticles on the web and it seems the first alternative is the correct one - 29,97 fps, same as NTSC and that's why the "M". Nevertheless the brazilian system uses the Pal color palette for that touch of "perfection at last". :)
Brazil nowadays is stil PAL-M for cable and public television, but all DVDs released here are NTSC, so we say that we are also NTSC for DVD (in spite of the fact most DVDs in the world play all systems, PAL 25, PAL-M or NTSC). The thing is, most if not all DVD local producers render their files to NTSC, but i would like to know how ot render a project in Vegas to PAL-M 29,97 (only still pictures animated with keyframes). Is this possible with the built-in MainConcept encoder? Thanks in advance :)
