As trying to render and burn a program I have burnt manytimes before,it seems to take an awful lot of time.When it is allmost finished a message pops up saying the file is to large and cannot be burned.Any thing I have forgot to check?Has the file all of a sudden become too large?

make shure under optimize, you have fit to disk, if your file is above 4 gigs

It says 1212 MB ( 30% of 3.9 Gb) So that shuld not be the problem.The fit to disc box I cannot find anywhere.I have architect 1.It seems like it is rendering far too much.

I cant undrstand why a project of 1.4 hour is using 6.3 gig when normally I use to burn two hour projects on a 4.7 gig disc.
Any one to explain?
Will I loose lots of quality to recompress?

DVDA 1.0 used to get confused from time to time about the actual project size; if this is what has happened then your only choice is the create a new project.

As long as you don't have a complex DVD (lots of motion menus, etc.) then the finished DVD project should just be slightly larger than the MPEG/AC3 files that are in the project.
