I’m confused here., and fully own up to being new to the Sony suit.
I have Studio v9 ... have captured video, edited, and ready to create DVDs.
when I asked a Q relating to creating DVDs, on Architect forum the guys there were stating that I should render the video file and audio file separately.
I had used the Render - “save as” type selected as - "Main Concept MPEG2"
I selected template - "DVD PAL"
After rendering use Architect “New project” with audio set to “AC-3”
Been told this is wrong ... (although it creates working DVD, not best way to do this)
The correct procedure they state is
1) Render a video-only file in Vegas using a DVD Architect template.
2) Render an audio-only file in Vegas using a Dolby AC-3 DVD template.
3) Import the video into a DVDA Project. If the AC-3 file is of the same name, it too will import automatically.
When I asked further they were saying select AC-3 template in Render options ... I have no such options.
The only place I can see Ac-3 mentioned is in DVD architect ?
Anybody enlighten me ... ? how do I get “AC-3” audio only file ?
Or perhaps is there anybody out there want to give me the steps to follow to render the separate audio & video files.
