Rending Issue

Duvale-Murchison wrote on 1/30/2025, 4:36 AM

Why won't vegas pro 21 render my new changes?  It's defaulting to the old version that I first edited.  I shifted one micro second video (golf swing), 1 second ahead and when I render, Vegas keeps "seeing" the former location where I moved the file from, and not its new position. I cleared the cache, refreshed everything, replaced the video file, saved the changes, and nothing is changing. Never had this issue before - been using Vegas Pro since #7

Thank you!

@Duvale-Murchison Hi, did you replace the video with a video of the same name? I know you said you've 'cleared the cache' but try renaming the orig & replace the one on the timeline with the renamed one, this will make VP create a new temp file or whatever VP is referring back to that is causing the repeated problem. Just a thought 🤔

Believe it or not, THAT didn't fix it either. Talk about the mystery of the world 2025!
