renewal

I can't seem to find any clear information about renewal. I've been on the subscription plan but now I want to change that and purchase Vegas for one last time so I can simply keep using that purchased version and not worry about any future upgrades, music downloads, or AI features. I'm hoping someone can help before they automatically renew it.
Thanks very much.
Roger

From MAGIX's Vegas Pro subscription FAQ webpage:

Subscriptions are renewed automatically, which means your software is always up-to-date. If you wish to cancel your subscription, you can do so up to 1 month before the end of the selected term. See our terms and conditions for more information.

It's been mentioned quite a few times over the years on the forum that the email documentation that came with the subscription acceptance outlines how to cancel the subscription.

If you have a perpetual license from a previous purchase which has not as yet been used for an upgrade, you should be able to use that perpetual license's serial number to upgrade to a Vegas Pro 22 perpetual license. Otherwise, contact MAGIX on infoservice@magix.net to discuss options.

Are you saying that I can take V19 and upgrade it to v22 for a perpetual license? I mean I already have v22 with a subscription. I guess my question is, how to convert the subscription I have to a perpetual and be done with it or is it perpetual now if I just cancel my renewal.
Thanks.

If you have a VP19 perpetual license and it has never been used for an upgrade to a newer Vegas Pro perpetual license (i.e. 20, 21 or 22), you should be able to use that license to upgrade to a perpetual license to Vegas Pro 22. Perpetual and Subscription licenses are separate 'animals' and a subscription license is not an upgrade from a perpetual license or vice versa - they are separate acquisition options. Again, contact infoservice@magix.net if you need to clarify your options.
