can you renumber the markers on the timeline? how? thanks in advance

Delete them all and start over??? Short of that or rearranging them all manually, no. In fact, if you add 1, 2, and 3, delete #2, the next one added will be 2.

Here's an idea:

You can use Edit-details to "number" and sort markers using the Name Field...

Also, any markers you wish to move can also have new TC entered into the position field.
