Replace color

I'm sure there's an easy way to do this and I am just having a senior moment. I have a client who wants a silhouette to walk across his web page. No problem shooting the greenscreen and keying out the background. My talent is not lit, so all I see is her shadow. When I leave "mask only" on I get a nice white silhouette on a transparent background. So far it looks like I am on the right track. However, I want the talent to be a black silhouette on a transparent background.

Any ideas?

You could apply the "Invert' effect to create a negative. I think that transparency is unaffected.

Invert what? I can make the mask 'negative' but I don't see an invert anywhere.

Add bright contrast and pump up the contrast and drop the bright

If you convert the chroma key to a mask by adding mask gen you can also do it but with a bit of a fiddle so I would just pump up the brightness contrast

I don't do masks very often, but can't you control the color by putting generated media of the proper color below (or maybe it is above) the track with the mask?

'Invert' is a standard Vegas FX and a very useful one at that.

Thanks Robert - I knew it would be something simple.
