Here’s my issue:
First, I put a number of still pictures on the timeline, and apply a series of complex track motions to them. Now, I want the whole thing to repeat, but with different media. I select the media on the timeline, cut and paste, and, so far, so good. Now I have copies of the media with all the keyframes: everything lines up, everything plays nicely. However, I still need to replace the media in the second copy with different media. However, if I “replace media” in the Media Pool, it changes the media in both the first and second copy.
Is there a way to change the media only in the second copy? I guess I can paste into a new project, replace media, render and assemble, but I would rather do everything in one file.
Thanks and Happy New Year!
