Replaced Boot Drive - need help

I just had to replace my boot drive as it was failing. I ran the western digital program for setting up a hard drive as the new hard drive. Everything is on the new hard drive (best as I can tell)
However Vegas 5 no longer runs nor does DVD architect 2.

I get a message saying they are improperly installed and that they should be reinstalled.

1) Do I unistall them first? Or simply reinstall
2) Have I lost the freebies that came with Vegas 4 & DVD a 1?
3) DO I lose anything by unistalling Vegas 4 with version 5 running or uninstalling DVD 1 with DVD 2 running?

THanks.

Ran into the same thing this weekend. I found that by just (re)installing the updates from Sony that it fixed this problem. It asked me to re-register the products, but otherwise they both launched ok. Haven't put them through a thorough test yet, but am hoping that that covers it.

Thanks, I gave it a try and it seems to have done it.
