replacing offline media with new media from explorer

I recently downloaded a .veg file from sundancemediagroup that I liked.
Is there an easy way of replacing the offline media with my own media to fit exactly in the timeline events without manually adjusting?

You can locate the media in the media pool, right click on it and choose "Replace." Then just find the clip you want to switch it out with.

Note, the new clip will start "at the same place" the old one did. So, if the media you are replacing started at frame 100 in the raw clip, then the new clip will start on frame 100.

You can find your media in the Explorer window, right-click and drag it to the generated media, and then choose "Add as Takes"
