Maybe I am reading the manual wrong, but it says that if the "Recompress video" under Optimize DVD is checked and grayed out, then it will recompress the video.
I have a 3.68Gb mpg file and a 205Mb ac3 file rendered from Vegas 4.0 in 16:9 format. I pulled them into DVDA as a "single movie". DVDA wants to recompress the video. My question is, why?
I set DVDA to either 4:3 or 16:9 and same result. I also set media size to 4.7Gb rather than the default 3.95Gb. Is this a bug or am I missing something obvious?
