Rerendering into Cineform 3?

This is simple enough, but it's been driving me nuts:

I want to rerender all the raw Cineform 2 footage of a project into Cineform 3 avis. What is the easiest way to to this? I want to do this because Cineform 3 avis seem to play back much smoother on my system.

I just figured out I can do this with Gearshift.

you converted old CF-AVI´s into 3.03-AVI´s?
Downloaded Gearshift, but found no way how to do.
Have no experience with Gearshift or scripts.
Some help would be very welcome!

I am doing this too (reconverting). Fortunately I still had the .m2t files for my raw footage, so I was able to just load them into HDLink, convert, then replace the V2.0 files.
