I have Vegas 5 loaded. (I had Vegas 3, then upgraded to 4, then upgraded to 5 over the last couple of years.)
I noticed that in a lot (but not all) of my Video FX presets, the preset labeled "Reset to None" is no longer there, but instead, is one called "Cut away section", which does what "Reset to none" did. In fact, if I try to delete the "Cut away section" preset, it tells me that it is part of the FX and cannot be deleted. How can I get my presets to say "Reset to None" once again? I can't delete the "Cut away section" ones, and I can't rename them.
I tried uninstalling all my Sony/Sonic Foundry apps, deleted the registry keys under CurrentUser and LocalMachine for both Sony and Sonic Foundry, and reinstalled all my apps. But the presets still come back as "Cut away section"; in fact, the preset information must be kept somewhere else, because all the custom presets I had created came back, too.
Anyone know how to clean this up?
