Here's something Nick_Hope has uncovered: Render quality Essentially it says "Rendering Quality" determines scaling algorithm.
I've seen posts on this forum that suggest setting a deinterlace method for progressive source to progressive render will improve resizing. (I don't think I'm inventing this, am I? Edit: I searched the forum, but couldn't come up with a good set of keywords to find this. If I am inventing this, ignore me!! [grin])
So the question becomes, if resizing algorithm is determined by "Rendering Quality", shouldn't we leave Deinterlace method to "none" if we are only resizing and not deinterlacing?
Opinions?
