resizing video to fit myspace

hi guys (sorry if this is a repost),

i tried uploading a vid file [vr_movie(01).mpg] to "myspace tv" from vegas 8 but the file was too large (forgot to mention i'm a newbie).

after shuffling through my manuals i noticed i can resize stuff using architect... now i'm TOTALLY confused!

1) after i retrieve my video file from the window docking area explorer and it pops up in the workspace area, i can operate the resizing tool and change the height /width. but how do i change the overall MBs of the file? myspace says they can only take 100MBs.

2) how do i change the resized video into video... i guess this sounds confusing but after i tried the resize, went through the "make dvd" steps and tried to upload to myspace again, i got an error message saying to the effect "only video files can be used".

thanks for any help... i'm desparate!!!

Hm, not really. I mean, there are ways to zoom in on video, resize thumbnails, and stuff like that, but this is all in the process of creating a DVD. You can't upload a DVD to Myspace TV -- you upload a video.

For what you want to do, you should go back to Vegas and render your video using a template appropriate for Myspace TV.
