Hi, I just picked up an scanner this weekend and it can do 600x2400 dpi. NOt necessarily cutting edge. My problem is when i scan a image to import into vegas the scanned image looks way to blocky. It looks like one of those old 8bit video games. Now the scanner says that it does 24bit. Ive gone through the manual a few times to tweak any settings and i cant find what im doing wrong.

The text is totally unreadable for large print, the colors are dull, and nothing seems to change the blockiness of the image. The final output will be to video so i thought that the scanner would be sufficent in outputing a decent image. Is this a limitation of the scanner or am I just doing something wrong?
