Problem resolved - filed for reference purposes by others

Warning: An Error Occurred When Writing to a file
Error 0x80047006
shows up when making a DVD. Rendering passes OK, and Preparing goes to Building Video Objects dies with the above error message.
VIDEO_TS.IFO and .BUP are not written.
The DVD used scene select where it would return to the scene select menu after playing the scene.
It appears that during the process of entering in and out points, I inadvertently created some chapter/markers. Once these were deleted in the initial main menu, it could be copied repeatedly and in/out points established (again avoiding creating chapter/markers).
The problem was hard to trouble shoot because the .dar would play fine in Architect preview but crash only after finishing Rendering and going into Preparing.
It would be nice if DVDA would catch errors like this and let a person know before preparing over and over again.
