restore custom settings after a system crash

Hi.

We had to reinstall Windows on our production computer. Now we want to restore the Vegas settings (especially the customized render settings). I have a backup of the old system disk (and application data) here. All data disks are still available.

Is there a way to restore the settings from the backup disk ?

You may have found this same file by now but just for the record ...I think the file you are looking for is here

Here's how mine looks
C:\Users\Paul\AppData\Local\Sony\Vegas Pro\11.0\RenderAs.settings

C:\Users\"YourName"\AppData\Local\Sony\Vegas Pro\"YourVegasVersion"\RenderAs.settings

This file is a plain text file and can be opened in Notepad. It looks to me like ti controls the Render settings. I've never tried to restore it. Worth a try.

Let us know if this works out.
