restore deleted files

hi,
i am deleting audio files from a VV project. However, i deleted some important files that are being used by other project. They are all deleted from recycle bin already. I've tried using a software called R-Studio 2.0 to restore the deleted files. I can find those files.
I can restore the whold folder back to windows XP. Unfortunately, there are few files having problem. They cannot be played, even in media player. It said it is not supported format.

Does anyone have a simular case like this? I want to see if there is any idea to save or fix those files.

if the resotored files aren't working it is probably the portion of the drive where the erased file was sitting had already been overwritten partially before you 'recued' them.

if you can get the file to open in anything, you might be able to rescue pieces of it, but it is unlikely.

ok, thank you...
those are sfx audio files, i am founding simular fx to replace it.
looks like i cannot rescue those files
