Retain Panning To Bus

Trying in V5b to send 3 backup vocal tracks to a bus to add a touch of EQ to them all. Can't seem to get the bus track to retain the pan info of the original tracks! The bus track plays the 3 parts centered.. Don't have this problem in V3 - what's up?

are you sending them or assigning them?

I'm creating a new bus, and using the bus faders on the track drop down menu.

OK - I was sending them. When I assigned them the panning remained as it was. Thanks Pipeline.
