Retrieving Media

When I hit the "Make DVD" button and go through the sequence to burn a DVD, I get a message saying "Retrieving Media, please wait." It takes a long time, so I hit cancel. I get a message back saying:

It has been determined that your project is too large for selected media. Would you like to continue anyway?

Can you prepare the project without burning? DVDA has very poor support for many different burners and/or media combinations. If you can prepare the project, then you can use some other software such as Nero to do the actual burn.

Thanks Scott. The movie is already created and rendered on Sony Movie Studio. I actually went to Movie Studio (so, by default DVDA) to get away from Nero. Plus I already have the DVD hardware for burning. So, buying something else isn't much of an option. Any suggestions since that's the case?

You can try formally reporting the problem to Sony.
