Return to sub menu

When using two menus, the second having scene selection, am finding that during a scene from the second menu some remote controls return you to the main menu and not back to the scene selection menu. How can I achieve going back one step and not to the first menu?

Best you can do is set the End Action to a specific menu or previous menu. Not all players necessarily obey this, however.

You do have an option to change one of the MENU button operations. Open the timeline that you want to affect and look on the right panel for REMOTE BUTTONS. the MENU has a + by it indicating options.

Now, as Muscivid mentioned, not all remotes on DVD players will acknowledge this operation. Some remotes have a Top Menu and a Menu button, I would assume that these would generally allow the program to work, but remotes with only one MENU button may not.
