Reusing Scene Selection menus

I am currently working in DVDA-3 but have paid for and own DVDA-4, as well -

First - I've seen problems on the forum about DVDA-4 stability - is it up to snuff? I have no probs with ver 3, for the time being, and am racing to a deadline.

The main question, however, is that I've got a two hour video with 36 chapters - all laid out and pretty - with three text only Scene Selection pages taken from the markers saved with the MPEG.

Now we want to add three chapters in the middle of the original two hour film.

Is there a way to keep all the layouts, etc., or does everything have to be done all over again.
Or - is there a better way to work, possibly importing menu pages from Photoshop or similar situation.

As we continue completion on the video, we continue also to make test "pressings" of the DVD, as well. Redoing the selection pages each time is getting very "old".

DVDA 4 is cool, but if you're facing deadline can't see swapping anything now -- there's always some risk installing anything, & deadlines are sure to bring out the unforeseen problems.

There was a thread recently about using templates to speed up chapt menu creation/layout. Otherwise not sure if it would be quicker for you to recreate your pages or alter the ones you've got -- I think it would depend on how you work and what you're fastest at.

Myself, if there are likely to be changes I prefer vector drawing apps &/or something along the lines of a DTP layout program. IMHO these allow a lot of placement, grid type options that make up for the extra hassles of getting their output into png files with transparency for hi-lites.

I know this doesn't help, but for reasons Vic has described I usually leave doing the scene selection menu till things are settled and it isn't likely any more chapters will be added/deleted. After that point if the timing changes the markers can be reloaded without having to rebuild the menu.
