reverse and fast forward effect

Hey guys i'm new to VV3 and would want to ask if the reverse and fast forward effect can be achieved at the same time with the same set of video? Hope you can help.

Kidding aside, do you want the look of a tape in FF and REW, or a slow-motion effect overlayed with a fast-motion, or other?

(I'm sure it can be done, regardless.)

Hi Ana,

Vegas can reverse 100% using just velocity envelopes.

If you want faster reverse, you might try using a velocity envelope +300%, render to a new track, and reverse the new clip.

For even faster, apply the playback rate of 4X in clip properties PLUS the 100% velocity envelope, render, then reverse the new clip.
